Q: Is there a spay program for low income families?
Stray Female Husky pup 6months old or older needs spayed immediately. I am unemployed. Any info will be appreciated.

Most areas usually have a mobile van that goes around and spays and neuters low income families...if you call your local humane society, they will be able to tell you what they have available. In my area, we have what they call Rover......

Most areas have mobile clinics for low income families. I would suggest you contact your local humane society. They will be able to point you in the right direction! Good luck!

Our town has an "angel fund" at our local humane society, check with them or your local shelter, if they can't help, which I know alot are low on funds, they may know of an agency that can help.
We also have, through our State department of the Humane Society, the Vsnip program. This will help you immensely in the cost of spaying, what would normally cost about $500 here, costs the Vsnip eligible person about $50.
Good luck!
