Q: Is their any way to pervent a bird laying eggs?

I am getting a cockatiel and i am not sure if it is a female or a male but i want to know if it is a female if i can pervent laying eggs?

Well, let me just say first that I love birds and subscribe to bird magazines, but I have never owned a cocketiel. I think that you just have to let her lay her eggs, but im not a hundred % sure or anything.

Just dont put a nest box in there. I have cockatiels and dont want them breeding so I dont give them anoywhere to lay eggs and they dont. If they still lay eggs just remove them each day.
