Q: Is pyoderma in dogs contagious?
My 6 month old chihuahua has a skin infection and the vet put her on an antibiotic and a antibacterial shampoo. I also have 3 other dogs and I was wondering if they could get the same infection? I was looking at pictures and it looks like pyoderma.

Pyroderma is bacterial, not viral, so it is not contagious to other pets or humans.

No I don't think so even though Shorty is a cat and Abby is a dog I know Abby can't get skin problems from him he is allergic to fleas and I think Abby is too and Cricket as well lots of smaller dogs have skin conditions or are allergic to fleas Skin conditions are not contagious as far as I know.
