I was NOT trying to offend anyone!!! When I go to the first listing that comes up on Google (paawsproject.org/) when I looked at this shelter's website (which I've done for all the top 20) it says "Minn-Kota PAAWS/PAAWS Project (People Advocating Animal Welfare Services) was created to educate the area population of the importance of spaying and neutering companion animals and to take a proactive approach to the animal population problem. Our mission is to spay and neuter barn, feral, stray and companion animals, thus reducing the number of unwanted litters. We serve Moorhead, Minn., Fargo, N.D., and their surrounding areas."

And never said anything about anything other than spay/neuter. I now clearly see there must be another website that explains more about thee adoptables and other services they offer. Thanks so much for cluing me in. I really appreciate all the great responses!!!!

Yes, my daughter volunteers there. They have a spay/neuter clinic also which is the only one in the area. They shelter and find good homes for cats. The building is brick and mortar. I'm sure you will get lots of answers from the actual volunteers.

Yes it most definately is a shelter for cats. They have a spay/neuter clinic there and is all volunteer ran. They adopt out cats they can find good homes for and are a great addition to the community there.
