no need to bathe a bunny, they have very low stress levels and if stressed can actually die of a heart attack

Don't bathe ur rabbit. Its very unsafe for them. They are naturally clean because they groom themselves probably five times a day haha. If he gets dirt on him or something just use a wash cloth but dont bathe!

I use to use wipes to clean off the paws and butt. I don't recomend bathing them. Stressful and you can get them sick.

We bathed our rabbits. It wont hurt them. Just put about a inch or two of water in the sink and use a wet cloth to wash it. Try not to get it near its face. If the bunny is scared just pet it and try to relax it. Dry off real good it could get sick if left wet.

Sometimes my bunnies get dirty when I let them out to play and what not. I've never needed to give them a full bath, usually you can use a wash cloth with bunny safe soap and that works fine. I wouldn't put your bunny right into the bath. If she does need a bath, try giving her a bowl of water to play in first to see how she might react. When you go to baith her, don't fill the tub with water. Just gently rinse her and try to avoid ears and face :)

I would try using a damp cloth first. Some rabbits do enjoy water. Not all animals have the same fears or anxieties even among the same species. I used to put a low dish pan of water out and found the rabbit I had liked to play in it. Slowly I made a bigger pool and soon she was splashing around in it.

It is extremely true. It is very unsafe to bathe a bunny. I don't care how many people have done it. It really messes with their body. We buy bath powder and bath spray for ours along with brushing. If she is real bad we get a small damp cloth and wipe her but that is it. I would never try to endanger my animal over something that you can avoid. They make other choices for rabbits out there, you just have to look around.

I would get a wet washcloth and wash it in needed areas.

i used to have two bunnies, and i would bathe them if they seemed really smelly or dirty. i only used baby shampoo because it is gentle and safe for them and wont burn their eyes... as for the stress thing, ive never heard of that, but i guess it is possible.

I feel it depends on the bunny and its level of socialization. I rescued two baby wild rabbits from a wheat field fire they set to prepare the field for planting and they loved going into a wading pool to swim. They lived out the rest of their days in a field behind our house. I would set them in the water cradled in my hands with their feet touching the bottom. They kind of swam out of my hands and into the water. I left the water level at right around their head so they never felt overwhelmed by it all. They were so cute playing in there. I stayed with them in case they wanted out. Never used soap on them or anything.
