If your cat likes which is pretty strange then I don't see why it would be harmful?? In the winter or if it's cold, your cat might not get dry, and get chilled? Indeed the hair factor is something to think about. But I think human hair clogs drain just as readily as any cat hair that might wash off during your shower. Human shampoo is not recommend for cats, so avoid shampoo or soaps...but water....go for it!!!

If your cat is an indoor cat with all the proper shots, I don't see why not, if he is outside without all the proper shots & fronline that you get from the Vet according to weight I don't see a problem, it probably the same as having your cat or dog sleep with you.
