Is he pure bred?
I bought this chihuahua puppy, and he's coming to live with me on sunday. But I'm not sure if he really is pure chihuahua like the breeder claims
what do you guys think?
the picture is him and the breeder. hes 9wks old and four pounds

Not purebred Chihuahua. Could be Chi/dashund mix. Four pounds at 9 wks. old - he's not gonna stay very small. Even just looking at the size of his feet - I see little Chihuahua in him. I have a Applehead Chi. and a Deerhead Chi.

i agree with stef. i thought the chis ears stand up. if she does not turn out to be a chi i hope you love her enough to keep her.

He's very cute, but does not look like a Chihuahua. He might when he grows up. Post again in a few weeks or months with an updated photo, it will help us determine what he is.
