Do these automatic, flushing cat toilets really work?

Yes, automatic flushing cat toilets really work. They do flush, automatically. As with other high-tech gadgets, the young make the best early adapters.

When you think of it, it’s pretty amazing that cats even agree to use litter pans in our homes. They must really like us. Some even learn to use human toilets. So, why not liquid-flushing litter less contraptions?

Still, we have some concerns: Will your cat heed the warning when flushing is about to begin and get out in time? Will wet feet permanently traumatize him? Will the companies perfect a system to tell when the cat is “done”? Will you keep the fluid replenished and faithfully do all required maintenance. Will the manufacturer take the thing back — no questions asked —if it doesn’t work?

Visitors to your home will want to see this thing in action. Your cat might, too.
