As long as Shiner is an indoor/outdoor cat,you almost have to expect that to happen.
Fleas will get into all cracks and crevices also,so it's a good idea to do lots off vacs on your carpets, wash all cat beds, etc.
I keep a few flea combs around to constantly delice, etc.Getting a bowl of water and adding Dawn dish soap has been a help when combing and finding any eggs or nits to finish off.Given a bit of time, the Frontline should eventually get things under control, once those random fleas jump on Shiner, and die off.If those pesky fleas are to the point of showing up all over the house, you just may have to end up setting off a flea bomb or something.
If Shiner is going to remain an indoor/outdoor cat, then you'll have to use the Frontline on a regular basis as a Flea Preventative.
Good luck! We want to hear Shiner singing,"There ain't no bugs on me"! lol
The frontline should kill his fleas, however, there may be some in other areas of the house, dependind on how long and how bad that shiner got them.

You can get your cat wet to drown some of the fleas. You need to use "Frontline Plus" or any 3 in 1 product for no less than three months to get rid of fleas because fleas lay eggs that take a while to hatch. You'll need to discuss with your vet what products to use along with Frontline if needed. Don't combine flea products without prior vet approval because too much flea medicine can poison your cat. If you take your cat to the vet regularly, then your vet will likely discuss your options over the phone and you won't need an appointment.
