Q: I'm A Dog-Sitter..

I'm a dog sitter in Modesto, CA and I've posted flyers all around my neighborhood and even considered creating a website(too much work) I was wondering what else can i do to promote my buisness. My fees are fairly low so i dont think that is the problem ($7 for a 30-minute walk, $10 for feeding, grooming, and walking) Im 13.
-----
Its not a big thing that I'm 13 (or even a girl?) i don't think people are going to be really super concerned that I'm not insured or bonded or anything. I honestly think somebody would be okay with me walking their dog around the block. The neighborhood I live in may be different than yours , though, I dont see anythign wrong with me being 13 years of age wanting to walk dogs.

You might also try having your parents help you post an ad in your local newspaper. Definitely give yourself a range or you'll be everywhere!

I would go to your vet or a local vet and ask them if you can post an ad there or if they would be willing to give your name to clients looking for help. But because you are a minor, their might have to be an 'of age' adult to vouch for you or be with you. Doesn't hurt to ask though!
