Q: If you had a crab would you let it go back at the beach it came from?
We inherited a crab last year and I am wanting to let it go this summer back at the beach that it is supposedly from...just seems the right thing to do...

I would take him back - he's probably best in his natural environment. I hope he was not gone too long to be able to figure things out again.

If I knew for sure that it could survive yes I would let it go back to its natural home.

If I had a crab and knew exactly which beach it came from, first of all, I wouldn't have disturbed it and its way of life. It most definitely needs to be returned from whence it came
