Q: if i run out of pet shampoo what can i use in place of it home shampoo?

i don't want to answer incorrectly -- why is this an emergency? Go to pet shop and see what they have for your particular pet -- also, check the ingredients -- they may be the same ingredients found in baby shampoo -- until you know for sure what is safe, hold off on giving Brady a bath.

Baby shampoo should be safe. I have had to give Blizzard a bath with human shampoo, and it never hurt her at all.it depends on the type of dog and how sensitive the skin is. It would be best to use dog specific shampoo, but if you can't affod this, don't have the time, or don't have a pet shop in your area, it should be ok at least once to use shampoo for people.

sesun Blue with aloe is the only shampoo I use on my guinea pigs. it's safe and won't dry their skin.
