Q: I would like to voulenter at the Stamford Wildlife Orphange but I am having difficulty reaching
them. I can't voulenter at a shelter because I wind up going home and crying.

me too. it takes some serious guts to go in one and help out w/o letting your emotions get to you. it's an emotional experience for everyone, but some people are just able to cut themselves away from those feelings long enough to be there. unless you can separate yourself from what you're seeing, it's probably not the place for you. try fostering instead.

I work (volunteer) at a nonprofit zoo as an animal handeler and as an educator to help people understand why we need to help animals to help ourselves and to inrich their expirience. It's also fun. try being an edzoocater <3
