I know that our dog is only going to get bigger so we have to start thinking about buying a bigger crate for her. We went to look at them & they are a little pricey. So i was wondering if anyone knew of a good place to go to get a really good deal on a crate.

craigslist... I got free ones. Check the "For Sale" section and access the free postings.

Walmart is also very reasonable.

Our Animal Shelter here has lots of crates for sale at VERY reasonable prices. Animals are brought in with them and they don't necessarily leave with them.

Walmart! Walmart has decent prices and I'm pretty sure I got a 100lb crate for about $40. That isn't too bad, considering if you go to petco they are much, much pricier...

Have you tried a listing such as craigslist.com to look for people selling them in your area?

first try used. we have a little paper in my area called penny power. they have all types of things and are looking for all kinds of things.sometimes you can get one for free.yard sales are another place i have seen them. the other one is not so easy. i understand how pricey they are but get the bigest you can afford. but as we were talking about in the bird club. spacing is everything. it the tray underneath slides oout a bit they are going to try to paw it out of boredom. if they geta paw out they coud hurt ot one the way back in. and don't forget the nails getting caught.i also beleive in the dog being able to stand up.and turn around if they want to. good luck. get out there before all the yord sales are done. also that paper i spoke about you can put an ad in that you are looking for. with the oproximite measurements.u will find something. but don't just grab because it is their.

Crates are pricey. Try to find a used one in your local paper or perhaps Craig's List. You can try Petedge.com but you would have shipping charges. Hope this helps.
