Q: I can teach a 20 years old amazon who only make sounds, to speak?.

I adopted her with no information about her past . She only make phone , fire truck and laser gun sounds... I want her to speak... Can it still learn to talk...

yes, she is still capable of learning, but some amazons (and other parrots) just never talk. love her for who she is. however, teaching to talk involves saying things repeatedly in an energetic, upbeat voice. make your voice interesting. this is why so many learn to curse (and quickly) you say curse words in a loud, emphatic voice. they find this interesting and pick it up
