I am traveling from New York to Boston, are there any bus companies out there that allow small dogs?

My dog is ten pounds, I have a carrier, how can I get from New York to Boston without flying?

I would call Greyhound or the specific bus companies for their rules re: pets. I would think a train would also be a good option that would allow pets. If you do fly, your dog is small enough that you could take him/her in the cabin with you. I don't know how you feel about driving, but renting a car is also a possibility.

I know most airlines would allow a dog that small to fly in the cabin with you. You can call local bus companies to see which ones allow pets. Also check with Amtrak, they may allow a small pet. There may even be some shuttle services that would allow your dog.
