We've had very good luck with a harness called the "Easy Rider." Nice for travel because the "handle" loop acts as a leash for the harness for quick potty breaks on the road! Our dogs have seemed pretty comfortable as well.

I don't know where you live, but we carry them here at the BGWCHS Adoption Center for about 10.00...great product.

I really cant tell you much besides look on e-bay or keep looking in stores because my dog just sits in the car and uses a regular seat belt.SRY

I have tried several different type of "seat belt harnesses". The best one (in my opinion) is the one made by Four Paws with fleece/fauxwool on the inside. The other types tend to allow your dog to get tangled in the harnesses loop and the seatbelt (which obviously is very dangerous). I have used all of the different sizes on different dogs, and find this harness nearly perfect....the only downfall because of the fleece they do get dirty if you have a less than perfectly clean dog and are hard to clean back to its original condition. My one dog (a rotti) has had his for 6-7 years, and it is still going strong.

I got a pet bed/car seat from Ginnys.com. It's essentially a dog bed, shaped like a big dog, and the seatbelt goes through the dogs arms. Then there is a leash type thing that you hook onto the dogs collar.
