Q: How to teach cat to do tricks

There are books for this but every trainer has their own way my cat Shorty I don't know what it is but even without treats he wants to learn tricks maybe he thinks he is part dog but I have taught him and trained him the same as a dog he knows sit, laydown, shake, come and fetch and if I tell him to go to another person he will Shorty is like a very loyal dog he wants to please so badly but you can use treats and the same commands you would for a dog oh Shorty also knows go to time out and go to bed although time out and bed are in the same room he seems to know the diffrance.
