It's normal behavior for them to talk and bark. They do it when they're excited, and if they're trying to locate other gliders, or if they don't get enough attention or outside the cage time. They're highly social animals. In their natural habitat they live in groups of several adults along with the babies. It's always recommended to have at least two sugar gliders at a time because they are communal animals and can actually die without companionship from another glider. If you already have two, she could be talking her companion. You can put a nightlight nearby or turn on a light.
