Q: how to get my dog across country

well i live in delaware and i have accepted a job offer in california i have to take the bus which is cheaper then flying plus i never been on a plane in my life and i am a lil scared but anyways greyhound wont let dogs on the bus so how can i get my dog across he country with out charging me a arm and a leg thanks
