Shes to young to be away from mommy and littermates, both emotionally and physically. Make sure she has been dewormed. If she has a hard time chewing the hard food you will need to wet it down for her into a mush. Her digestive tract may not be ready for hard food yet. She will need to be feed 3-4 times a day so she doesn't inhale her food and cause more digestive problems. Keep her on a high quality puppy food and don't give her any other food. Things should get better as she gets around 8weeks of age. Off of the subject, you will need to socialize her like crazy with other dogs and people. Dogs who are taken away from thier mom to early (before 8 weeks) usually develope bad behaviors such as dog aggression, not knowing bite inhabition, fear, seperation anxiety and phobias. You can counter this but you are going to need to socialize her and train her like crazy. When she is 8 weeks, get her into a puppy class and continue thru off leash! She will need to be exposed to different dogs and people and situations. For the future, no responsible breeder will let thier pups go before 8 weeks of age. Best of luck!

Puppies are like babies, they will have to go potty in the middle of the night because their bladders aren't big enough to hold it in for long. You have to get up with them to let them out of the crate for several weeks.

The runs could be caused by intestinal infections which is sometimes common with puppies. They may also have worms which is common. Take your baby to the vet to rule them out. If they have an infection and put on meds, that will cause the runs too until it is cleared up.

The food you are feeding them may cause the runs too. Not every puppy food agrees with every dog. It takes trial and error to find one that they will be able to digest properly.

Puupies typically stay with their mother until they are eight weeks old. Your vet should be able to recommend the proper amount of food to give your puppy. At the very least the suggested meal portions should be stated on the container (bag, etc). When I got my puppy, I fed her twice a day in small portions.
