two dark chocolate chips will not harm your dog, no matter their size. this site will educate you better on how much chocolate is safe for them. one of my dogs absolutely loves reeses peanut butter cups, so from time to time, i'll give her one. a little milk chocolate or dark chocolate never hurt anyone. it's the baking chocolate and the sweet cocoa that they really need to watch out for.

Actually, your dog may end up feeling sick, but it actually takes MUCH more than people think to kill them. Many dogs can eat whole Hershey's bar and have NO side effects, but I would call the vet JUST IN CASE!

Oh Goodness! Each dog is different, some can eat that and it wouldn't do anything, and some could eat it and put them into instant kidney failure. I would call your vet, do they have an "on call" number? I'm the type that calls the on-call number all the time, we're on a 1st name basis :) We've gotten so we don't even bring chocolate or onions into the house, my kids think I'm nuts, but I don't take any chances.
