I would say follow the label for size on the bag of dog food it will say 1 cup or more depending on the size of the dog. Also feed them once in the morning and in the evening then in the afternoon maybe give them a treat or a rawhyde to hold them over until dinner.

It depends. Have your dogs matured or are they still considered pups? As a general rule, adult dogs do okay with one or two feedings a day but puppies need to eat more frequently. How active are they? Growing dogs & active dogs need more calories than older or sedentary dogs. it also depends on what kind of food you're feeding them. If you're feeding foods loaded with fillers, grains, & corn, your dogs won't be able to break down the food into nutritionally available components & most of it just gets passed out of the body & they're hungry again. If you feed good quality, human-grade, grain-free food, your dogs can use more of the food & will be less hungry. I free-feed my three dogs a premium dry dog food & then supplement their diet with a cup (or 1/2 can) of premium meat-based, grain-free canned or homemade food twice a day. They are all high-energy dogs, burn lots of calories through exercise & play, & our vet always gives them high marks for their weight & health.
