i volunteer at the horse stables.

At Butte Humane Society, we have 16 staff (all but one are full-time) and 70 to 90 active volunteers logging around 400 to 500 hours each month... not counting foster volunteers, board member volunteers, or court-ordered community service workers who do much of the cleaning.

THERE ARE 98 EMPLOYEES ON THE PAYROLL AT THE SHELTER I WORK FOR AND WITH ABOUT 600 ANIMALS IN THE BUILDING, WE NEED MORE! BUT THERES JUST NO FUNDS FOR IT.
