That sounds reasonable. It would be hard to give the proper care and attention to more that that. Also, the limits can prevent hoarding if the law is enforced.

This sounds fairly reasonable. By putting limits, it reduces the potential for hoarding.

I think it is reasonable, the state is just looking out for the well being of the animals. Too many animals can lead to improper care and get the animal as well as the owners into a lot of trouble.

This sounds reasonable to me. Among issues to consider is expense (can they afford both preventative and emergency treatment) and space. Within the city limits properties tend to be fairly small, and all 3 dogs do need space to roam. My husband's parents have a huge ranch outside the city limits, and 4 dogs. They have the money to care for more, and the space, but your really starting to push your ability to spend time with each one when you start getting above these levels, unless your family is huge.

Actually, I think it is reasonable, especially in the city. I had seven dogs at one time, but I lived in a rural area. In the city, there are just too many potential issues - noise and waste among them.

Myself I think 3 is reasonable and I cannot agree with the seven. If you have to many dogs how are you going to be able to afford to give them the food and vet care unless your a shelter.

I agree with this law. Dogs take so much time & money to be cared for in a proper way, the more dogs the less time for each to be cared for. I know my 2 dogs cost plenty for there care.
