Our shelter in Bowling Green KY takes in anywhere from 7,000-8,000 a year. This year we think it will be more.

I don't participate in any shelters, but we get a new dog around the house from shelters every year.

We take in about 2,500 a year at Liberty Humane Society in Jersey City, NJ
