Goldfish can live 15 to 20 years in large aquariums or outdoor ponds. In smaller aquariums they can live 5-10 years with proper feeding, filtration, & aquarium maintenance.

Depends on what kind of fish for one thing, my grandma's kio outside in her pond named Waterfall she has had Waterfall and the goldfish which are Waterfalls school of fish since I was about 5 and the fish were just babies then and I am 23 now so that would mean the fish have to be somewhere in thier tewnties too.
