Q: How do you keep a cat out of a room?

put your cat in the bathroom for a while. Then work then go back and check on them. put some food and water and litter box in there too. or if there is just a door close it.

I would just keep the door to the room closed and if that doesnt work or if your not able to keep the door closed all the time then just put the car into another room with some food and water and maybe some toys so its mind stays busy.... or put up a screen door that way the cat can be involved with you and watch you but not be able to enter in...

due to some of the fosters i get from time to time my cat has to be put up in the bathroom. thats where his litter box is anyway and he has toys and he likes to sleep on the shelf of towels. it wont hurt the cat to be contained for a little while, just keep the lid on the toilet closed (although puma likes to straddle ours, maybe he'll eventually use it lol)

I would close the door or if there isnt one either put a gate up or put the cat in a cage.

When I was little I would CLOSE THE DOOR! No JK I would Put My cat in a room and stay with it or leave THEN come back. C'mon Cats can't be alone ALL the time!

you can hang a blanket for a temp door if you dont have one it will keep them out.

what I do when something like that happens is to put my cat in another room until I'm done.Preferably the bathroom.
