Q: How do you get rid of fleas on puppies 5 weeks old?

Try taking it to a vet and get PROFESSIONAL help. At five weeks old this puppy should still be with mother, unless of course she is dead. No puppy should be removed until at least 8 weeks of age.

Dawn dish detergent! Flea medications can be toxic to small animals. Our cat shelter bathes tiny kittens in Dawn dish detergent solution to remove fleas without harming the kittens.

once your puppy is 8wks i highly recommend frontline spray. u can use it on any others animals u may have as well
