I have to agree that the ASPCA Pet Insurance is the best coverage. My sister and I both enrolled in there plan. There is a second dog discount. So far they have covered our emergency vet visits, minus the annual deductable. We have the Primary plan. It doesn't cover the vaccinations, but now that most states only require updated shots every 2-3 years, I just pay out-of-pocket for them. We have two very active dogs in daycare.

I love our ASPCA Pet Health Insurance. I have both of my dogs insured through it for accident insurance (breaks, cuts, bites, injestion, tears, etc) and then one of my dogs also has illness insurance added to her plan. We pay less than $25 a month for BOTH to be insured, there is just a once a year $100 deductible (not per incident like many) and they pay 80% of everything. We've had several vet trips in the past year and they've been more than great to deal with. Eight paws and two thumbs up from us!

A woman I work has done some research and she likes the company Petplan USA, www.gopetplan.com/.

There is also a website that has reviews of the major pet insurance companies, www.petinsurancereview.com/.

But the main thing is do research and make sure you read the fine print to see if it meets your needs.

my pets are covered through pets best (www.petsbest.com/) and I love them. They do have multiple pet discounts and I like their coverage options. But I agree with the other poster that research is key, find a company that has fees that you agree with and coverage that suits you.
