Q: How do people feel about giving there cats cat nip?

Was it really catnip? How did you give it to them? Are they real cats? I have never known a cat to ignore real catnip in a toy or bag.

Our Kitty loves catnip. She gets quite wired, runs around, sneezes occasionally, and then falls asleep. She shows a strong interest in just about anything that has a minty smell. My Valerian (also in the mint family) bottle is something she loves to smell. She also sniffs me after my shower if I use my peppermint soap.

Lots of animals enjoy getting a little bit 'buzzed'. So we companions of animals should monitor them and serve as their 'designated driver' should they get too loopy.

I have a cat who loves it. But my sisters two cats hate it.It may be the bread.Or as they say cats are finicky!!!!!!

Some cats like catnip more than others. My first cat went nuts over it and acted drunk. The cat I have now could care less about so she doesn't get any.

Every once in awhile I give my cat catnip...I think she likes it and she's adorable b/c she gets so playful. I don't think there's anything wrong with it, she doesn't act too weird...sometimes she'll act like she's on catnip for no apparent reason!

One of my cats goes so nuts when she has catnip that it scares me. She rolls and rubs and gets really wild eyed. I don't give it to her very often, maybe once a year. The others like to rub it and enjoy playing in it for awhile, but they stop on their own.

I dont see a problem with it, I have a "boogie mat" that has catnip in it so they lick it, roll in it e.t.c

Ours get catnip about once a month and all of them like it.
