Bring it to a vet, it is easy, and please don't get a mate, there will be so many rabbits needing a home, and there are already to many, 2 males will have a problem but 2 females may be fine if you have a proper place for them to live, my rabbit had the run of the house and learned how to pee on newspaper, but the marbles are a different story, they just drop them, but are so easy to pick up I didn't even think about it, you also have to rabbit proof your house, they will chew wires, 1 of the most important problems, they are newsy and can get into things that can be dangerous, you can also have them fixed and they love company, they do not thrive put in a cage and fed & watered everyday, they need to be played with & loved, and also make sure you line up a good Vet that treats exotics, that is what their considered and most people forge to have their teeth checked, it is important that they are cut or they will really ches trying to take care of their teeth so they can eat

its really tough to tell the sex in a rabbit, unless you have alot of experience -unless you see the testicles

and, I also recommend not breeding your bunnies, there are too many homeless bunnies out there, so if you mean 'mate' as in a buddy or friend, make sure to choose the same sex or get them spayed/neutered.

It is difficult to sex bunnies.
If your bunny is calm enough, turn it over on its back and look for the tuft of fur between the back legs. If you search around that tuft of fur you will see two skin spots without fur in the “ 2 o’clock” and the “10 o’clock” position. These skin spots are smaller in the female, and larger in the male. This is what will turn into testicles as the bunny matures. This will tell you if your bunny is a boy or girl. If your bunny is really young, it may be hard to tell. Once or if it starts to develop testes, you will be able to see them.
Good luck!
