Q: how do i get my dog to play with toys
the only thing my 2 year old catahoula leapord will play with is her food dish. It doesn't matter what kind of toys i put in front of her, she doesn't care. How do I get her interested in other toys?

how long have you had her? my boxer girl I adopted last year took 3 months before she would really play.. now after having her a year she is running around and playing acting all crazy
Her favorite is the rope toy and this squeaky ball made by JW and a two stuffed toys a monkey and a frog with rope legs.. we went through many different balls and toys before we found one she really liked playing with. I finally just took her to PetSmart and let her pick out her own

My dog doesn't like toys either and I have found that toys like Nylabones that are scented and flavored tend to get him more motivated. Also, Kongs stuffed with treats work great, too. It may take some trial and error to find what your dog enjoys. Good luck!
