3 out of 4 of my cats love cat nip - so I put it on their scratching post and rub it on their toys. They also love wand toys and anything with feathers on it.

I play hide & seek with my cat. He stalks and pounces as if he is hunting. I will go into a room and peek out from the doorway and then step back in so he can't see me. That's when he gets low to the ground and makes his way in for the kill. He just loves doing this.

My three cats vary in age and the oldest can be particularly lazy until I bring out a wand toy. All three cats jump and leap to retrieve the toy or feather dangling from the wand! Hope it works for your cat.

Catnip works really well. It makes my cats go psycho.

I would try the kitty toys a feather wand , catnip, and maybey even one of those battery operated rats that move...anything to stimulate her hunting skills...

My cat is SOOOO lazy! All he wants to do is eat. Catnip only worked a little bit. He also has a certain string that he will play with sometimes. The vet suggested that i put him on a diet since he was 18lbs. I did & i think he feels a lot better, but what really got him more active was when we brought home a new puppy. LOL :) ! I guess he was lonely for another fur friend.

There are several different versions of a string toy that you can buy at a pet store. My lazy cat loves the toy that is a very long thin piece of fleece material at the end of a plastic stick. I call it "cat fishing" when I get her on the line. You need to praise your cat for play to let him know he's being a good kitty.

Maybe if you get a string and try to get her to play with it.Or you can look at some of the toy reviews too.
