Q: How do I get my 2 dogs to stop peeing on my lawnmower?
Whenever the dogs are outside and the kids leave the garage door open they go in and pee on my riding lawn mower. The dogs are neutered males 3 years old and this did not happen last year they started doing it this year. I cleaned the garage and mower with disinfectant to get rid of the scent but no luck. I am getting frustrated with these 2 dogs any helpful ideas would be good. Thanks

disinfectant doesn't help much in this situation. at best, it will wash off just enough scent so us people can't smell it. your dogs always will though and as long as they can, they'll see it as their spot. you have two choices here: scrub it down w/vinegar to neutralize the alkaline or spray it w/an enzymatic cleaner like natures miracle and let sit. the latter you may need to repeat a couple of times b/c it's not an absorbent material.
next step: kids are not allowed to leave that door open. maybe if they do, they should be the ones to clean it and do some chores to pay for the enzymatic cleaner.
curbing a dog from urinating on a spot like that can take some serious work. it's not like them going in your home that you can usually fix by making sure they go outside first. this is more in tune w/marking, and stopping a dog from marking - especially two male dogs who are opting for the same spot - isn't easy. so your best bet is to stop them from even having that temptation. when the door is open, keep the dogs inside or have someone watch them.
