4 months is awfully old for a kitten not to be weaned. you should probably take him to a vet and have him checked out...he may well be sick.

don't give him too much, but brown up a little ground beef and give to him. most kittens go nuts over it. maybe different foods...maybe try softening the kibbles with a little water. maybe try canned food. you may want to try some of this stuff:

KMR 2nd Step. it's a step between bottle and solid food that's very close to formula, but meant to be lapped up rather than bottle-fed.

but most importantly...the little guy needs a vet.

I agree with Amber. Most kittens and puppies are curious to try out new food, even while still nursing. If your kitten isn't, there may be other health problems.

Buy some meat baby food. Level 2. Meat only no vegetables. The meat only is a little expensive, but the veggies are gassy at this young age. I fed the kittens at 4 weeks, as advised by the vet, once they had their first bowl movement I switched to kitten chow and soft once a week. Chicken liver from fancy feast was their favorite. Good luck and take care.
