How do I find out if a nursing home is looking for a resident cat? This is an idea I had for rehoming my dad's cat Tickles cause she is 14 years old but she loves everyone even complete strangers and she likes other cats she likes kids and dogs she is also a lap cat and is indoor / outdoor or just indoor and Tickles might be old but she is healthy and also she loves her baths so how do I find out if a nursing home is looking for a cat?

the only thing i can think of is to call a couple and ask. a lot have them the one i got hurt had 2 parakeets. but i never thought that was a good idea. the residents got really attached and when one died they were upset. i love the name tickles
