it appears that you are stuck. i've searched as well and have found nothing explaining how you can change your affiliations. *which is really annoying*

the shelter i chose, erroneously, does not appear to be very active and the data posted in petfinder looks old.

being able to change the affiliation would be nice to insure that only legitimate and active groups benefit.

hello!? is anyone from zootoo reading any of these?

Donna, I had the same thing happen. YES you can change it. However you will need to contact zootoo. Go to the contact us page. They have toll free numbers. Call them and explain. They will explain how. It entails writing an email with your information on it and giving them them the name of the old rescue and the new one you wish to change to. They put in a order for the change and its done. It takes about a day to do so. They will email you a confirmation and you will send it back. It then goes to the change dept. It sounds like a lot of work but its not if you truly want the rescue of your choice to reap the benefits. I named one by mistake also. Zootoo was wonderful in helping me get through it. The do not offer a page for us to change as there as certain laws regarding their tax ( the rescues and shelters) status to qualify for the title of the above. That is why. I understand you frustration, however just contact zootoo on the tollfree line and they will help you right away. They are really great folks in helping we zootooer's out! Hope this helps you.
