She is a 10 month old mixed breed hound. We adopted her 3 weeks ago. This was not a reported behavior when we got her.

first you should put any shoes that you want to keep up high were he cant get to them. Then take the shoes that you don't want to keep and use them as training tools. do some clicker treat training every time your dog does not touch the shoe press the clicker and give him a treat. set those shoes on the floor and tell him no or make a distracting niose. or get him some rawhides and chew toys maybe that will keep him away from shoes.

Have you try giving her chewing toys? Our golden puppy loves chewing toys and those bones you can buy at any pet store or pigs ears that you can buy too at any pet stores. They do help. When we go out and our dogs have to stay, we give them a bone or a pigs ear to chew on and they get in to those things and live the furniture, shoes and anything else u don't want them to chew. You can give them one during the day, those ears last a long time, and the bones even longer. You can try and do this it might help. Good luck.
