Q: how come hamster's don't take sand baths?

i didn't know that anything but chinchilla to sand or dust baths. give him a little break. put it within his reach and let him go in or not. maybe he will start to use it again

My hamster uses cat litter. She rolls in it when it is clean, but afterwards when she has used it she doesn't roll in it.
