Q: How can I stop my maltipoo from growling
Tequila will growl for everything I try to wake her up she growls I give her muff & rebe belly rubs she growls I pick her up she growls I move she growls

If your dog is growling while your rubbing belly - its a way of communication & i wouldnt be worried.. Actually, its unique and endearing... its sort of like a cat purring! :-D

A dog growls as communication. As long as the dog has a happy tail it is just play growl. Some ways you can cope with it are to have him meet his problems. If he does good then give him a treat. Do not praise him if he growls in a bad maner.
