Q: How can I select "calico" as a color for my cat?

and... nevermind, I totally understand your question now; they must have recently added DSH to the list, you're asking about coat patterns..........
please excuse my dumbness as I had a long stressful day at school today, brain isn't functioning properly... :(

"Calico" is actually not a breed, it is a coat pattern. More likely you have a "butt" of the cat world, except "mutt" cats get a cool name -- Domesticated Short/Medium/Long Haired :)
Your kitty looks like a Domesticated Short Haired calico, with calico being her pattern, not the breed.
UNFORTUNATELY ALSO, I don't believe domesticated short haired are on the list of breeds, either, so just choose something that is the closest :( I personally chose American Short Haired for my kitty (eventhough that breed is absolutely NOTHING close to being a DSH lol).
Tortoise-shell also is not a breed, but rather a coat pattern.

You can contact zootoo and have them add calico to the breed list, or you can list your cat as a tortoise shell. Tortoise Shells can look alot like calicos.
