Q: How can I reply to people who answer my questions?
I noticed that others can reply, but I have no reply button on my posted questions. How do I make a reply otherwise?

I think you can click on the person's screen name & send them a message that way. You cna always let them know that you're replying to their answer. I think that's how I did it in the past.

This website feature is to prevent you from answering your own question and getting points. I know, silly. What I have done is go to my question and click on "edit". Then I add more detail as I think you are allowed up to 5,000 character spaces in your original question.. Then I have specifically named someone for my reply within the body of my own question. Otherwise, you would have to zoomail the person privately.

it's an annoying feature. every other animal forum i've seen allows for further discussion - which sometimes is needed. but until they can work out the kinks of that 5 points, this is the way it'll be...as though anyone would even bother trying to "take advantage" that way!
