how can i get rid of the odor from my 2 hamsters?
we clean both cages twice a week and the hamsters still cause a really bad odor. being we have little kids in and out the house i would like to know how to get the smell to go away.

Well it can depend on what kind of odor it is. Is it their waste?? Do they use a specific place in the cage? If it is both then you just need to clean out that corner every other day and it shouldn't smell. From what I know, a hamster is very clean and if his/her cage is kept clean then there should be no odors.

try a different bedding? i have guinea pigs i know how it feels... we have both of ours in the same cage idk if you can do that with hamsters

Maybe try vinegar? It is safe and can neutralize odors. I used it to get out the bait smell from my fridge! :)
