Lani use to be on wellness. and she used to get Stella and chewy freeze dried patties as a treat as well as an occasional raw meat treat
Well two years we went away for 2 weeks and the people who watched her feeds their dogs pedigree. We sent her with her food but for what ever reason she will not eat the healthy stuff anymore and will only eat the pedigree and with the amount of times it has been recalled i would like her back on a holistic diet. does anyone have any tips on doing a switch again.

That was the first thing i tried. starting with 90% pedigree and 10% holistic and all she does if eat around it

Those cheap foods are loaded with sugar and nasty chemicals. It's like candy to them. It's like asking a child, Mcdonalds or this shrimp salad? You can mix the good with the bad or just go cold turkey. You eat this or nothing at all. 99% of dogs will eat after a day or two.

Mix the holistic with Pedigree and slowly decrease the Pedigree and increase the holistic.

So far the answers on how to switch her back are all feasible responses. The important thing is that you DO switch her back. She will be a much happier, healthier animal in the long run. I would even go so far as to consider feeding her a raw diet. Some of my dog's were on the healthiest dog foods for a long time, and when I finally made the decision to switch to a raw diet there health was 10 times better. I will probably never go back to a commercial dog food and the plus of it is that it is all raw meat and vegetables. What dog wouldn't want to eat that?! Good luck.
