She's almost 4 yrs old and playful - very friendly, just loves tugging and fetching toys, but seems to demolish them immediately.

the only toys I have had real success with is Kong and Nylabone. but one of the dogs I was sitting for chewed through one of the kong toys in minutes.. unfortunately some never get pass that stage. My boxer kids treat their toys well.. but I had a couple fosters that destroyed every toy in their way. We have a boxer boy in the rescue that I play with every Sunday that goes through many toys too.

I have the exact same problem with my shepherd mix. He plays with a toy for a short while, then settles down and demolishes it. But he gets bored with nylabones. I have had some luck with this Kong Brand toy I get at Pet Co. Its basically a long tubed shaped tennis ball that squeaks. He loves it and will sit and the squeak it over and over - kind of annoying but really funny! Then he likes to throw it up and pounce on it. He does eventually tear the yellow covering off, but I just pick up the pieces so he doesn't swallow them, and then the toy is just rubber. When he tears through that I throw it away. It's kind of expensive - $12.99, but lasts a little over a month so it's worth it for me. It comes in a circular shape that you can throw like a frisbee as well.

I've had success with the Kong Extreme, it's your standard shaped Kong ball, but made of a thicker black rubber. Really good for those power chewers. Also, I picked up a new toy by the JW pet company called the "Megalast" ball. They come in some really neat colors and patterns, and so far (a little over a month) my guys haven't chewed through it. I was also told that if my dogs were to chew through it the JW company would send me a new one free of charge, so that is a plus. Hope this helps a little, good luck.
