Help

Hello everyone, My 9 month Aussie broke her leg on Saturday. she needs surgery. The vet want's $3000 to fix her. I do not have that much money. I just lost my job because I have Addison's Disease and was in the hospital more days than I was at work. What can I do? Who can I call to help Brooklyn?

You can try your local shelter they might have information to help you, or find a vet that you can make payments. I am sorry I dont have more information, I wish you the best of luck.

There are pet surgery loans but if that's not an option for you then you should start calling all the local rescue's in your state to see which one would be willing to take her, care for her and re-home her.

There are several options. You can contact your local shelters or rescue organizations & ask them if they have any suggestions. There are also animal support foundations that offer assistance. Check the following site to get you started in your search:
www.sdshelters.com/assistance.html

Also you can set up a fundraiser on www.fundable.com/
We get fundable requests across our rescue network all the time from rescuers & other people & they seem to be pretty effective.

Good luck with your search.
