Q: having a mardi gras dog cake at your party?

How about it? Having a dog-friendly cake for the pups at your Mardi Gras get-together? What will it be like? I've attached a shot of a 2-layer, 6" cake I made, decorated with well-washed beads and parade throws. When you decorate with non-edibles, remember to be careful that pups don't get hold of the decos before you can remove them. If you have a photo of one of your dog's cakes, it'd be great if you post it with your answer.

Heck yes. For Butch's Birthday, Gert used to make meatloaf and cover it with mashed potatoes and gravy. He loved it!

Your cake looks wonderful - I'm not that creative, but every so often I do make my own dog treats from whole wheat flour.

I would love to do this, but my dogs have such sensitive stomaches! So it looks like it's gonna be their kibble in a bowl with a chicken leg treat :)
