Q: has anyone read about a people using live dogs and cats as shark bait

in french territory people are hooking cats and dos through their snouts and using them as live shark bait.. there is an abundance of stray animals and these people decided to use them as shark for.. i have never seen anything more horrific in my life... how can we stop this... below is the link....

I never heard this - but it is terrible if true. i will go to the websites and see.... terrible, terrible.... when will people stop acting like barbarians? Now i won't be able to sleep?

That is absolutely horrible. Will humans never stop torturing helpless animals?.Something needs to be done quickly to stop this.

its heard of, but its uncommon. the united states military actually shoots, poisons, burns, and amputates live dogs, pigs, monkeys, and goats in their training - and refuses to stop. www.pcrm.org/resch/dod/

there's a good deal of info there. a basic summary: the practice is not unheard of, but also isn't commonly practiced or generally accepted as rumors would have you believe. also, this apparently more commonly happens with already-dead animals.
