Has anyone found a dog chew toy that can withstand a HUGE lab?!

I have been through more chew toys for my 1year old lab than I ever did for my other one...and he's 10! It's ridiculous all the toys that claim to be durable...anyone?!

My friend has a dog and said that the Kong toys work the best.

As someone else mentioned, the kong toys are fairly sturdy, especially the black ones. You could also try something called a "horse ball". They are used for horses and also for big cats like lions and tigers, so I wouold guess that they stand up to abuse.

I have found Kongs to be pretty indestructible as well as the Paw Tracks tire toys.

My friend had the same problem with her dog so she looked at websites where they sell toys for zoo animals, like bears, tigers, etc and they bought a toy from there and their dog has not been able to destroy it.

kongs are durable but my dog doesn't like to chew on them. Although not indestructable I have had good luck with the tennis ball jack & the zanies canvas cammo bone. My dog loves to chew on knuckle bones & dinosaur bones as well. We bought one in October & although very well worn is still in the toy box! My golden retriever will chew anything he can get his little teeth on . Destroys everything. Ii like these products.

Try Paw Tracks Tire Toys. We got these for the pit bulls and they have yet to be able to completely destroy them. They are chewed up, but we've had the tires for 4 years now.

Kongs do not really squeek unless you get the one for outside that say Air Kong. These are very good. If he just want something to chew on a regular ole kong would do. The Good and Bad CUZ are also pretty durable squeeker toys. Ruffians as well. Good luck!

These are the ones I have found to be most durable, safe and acceptable to my dog who is a tough chewer: Nylabone Big Know, Nylabone Galileo, Dentley sterile bone, Nylabone Pro-action. Kongs are not indestrucible for my dog.
